System Administrator - Healthcare Avery Partners is seeking a System Administrator with experience maintaining complex IT infrastructure in a 24/7 environment. Candidates with former heatlhcare background preferred but not required. The System Administrator will interact with the engineering team to develop efficient solutions to solve complex technical problems and assist application teams with system selections. Job Description The System Administrator will support and maintain Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure utilizing Fiber Channel and Network Attached Storage (NAS) connectivity with a complete understanding of configuration and troubleshooting with multiple operating systems. Responsibilities will include developing hardware and software standards. Required Skills- Active Directory design, support and troubleshooting including management of Group Policies - Citrix Xenserver management, installation, support and troubleshooting - Maintains Windows/Linux/AIX operating systems, performs regular maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting including end user support - Knowledge and experience managing, maintaining and installing VMware virtualization technologies including ESX, Vsphere and Vmotion - TCP/IP knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, WINS, FTP - Installation and maintenance of tape and disk backup - Develop and/or manage Capacity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan for application environment - 10 years of experience in complex infrastructure environment with multiple facility locations Education- Bachelor's Degree in
computer
