Summary/objective The Field Technician II will be based inside an automotive repair shop and will assist in the virtual diagnostic scans and calibrations for vehicles involved in collisions.

Serve as primary client contact as needed within the service processPromoting the necessity for diagnostic and calibrations at assigned shopCoordinate and set-up vehicles for a diagnostic scans including required manual diagnostic tests and technical evaluations to assist the remote technicianCoordinate and set-up vehicles for calibrations utilizing TruPoint and/or setting up dynamic calibrations Responsible for driving customer or company vehicles for the purpose of delivery, testing or calibrationAdhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rulesOther Duties:

Minimum
Qualifications:
1 year of experience in the automotive industry at an entry level position and/or as a Lube TechnicianCurrent, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) requiredUnderstanding of automotive industry and various manufacturer acronyms and lingoBasic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft OfficePreferred

Self-motivated, high energy and a client-focused perspectiveReliable and punctual for all scheduled shiftsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentA technical or vocational school participant/graduate preferredNew car dealership experience is considered a plusSupervisory responsibilitiesThis role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work environmentThis job operates inside an automotive repair shop environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.
Physical demandsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
Must be able to carry and transport up to 50 pounds up to 20 feet.
Requires standing for extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.
Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Requires use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Requires frequent driving and some typing.
Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
Travel requiredSome travel within the assigned geographic area is expected.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
