Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous radiographic studies and work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
Regularly performs the duties and responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologists.
Performs routine radiographic examinations in accordance with specific operating instructions and safety standards.
Determines proper technical factors and adjusts radiographic equipment accordingly.
Assesses patient condition throughout procedure and observes for adverse reactions.
Recognizes and responds to emergency situations according to departmental procedures.
Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to manager.
Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
