An Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment; Advance children's physical and intellectual competence; Supports each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance; Establishes positive and effective family relations; Ensures an effective program; Responsive to children's needs; Maintains professional commitment.
Additionally, Assistant Teachers / Floaters are responsible for working together with the entire faculty in developing and implementing their lesson plans.
Experience:
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
