As the Controller, you'll monitor the company's financial status, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions.
To be successful in this role, you should be very organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and a quick learner with very strong accounting knowledge.
Prior employment history must show stability and longevity.
Candidate with construction experience, highly preferred Typical Controller Duties including but not limited to:
Prepare Bank Reconciliations Job Tracking/Costing Manage Overall Cash Flow Perform Month End-close Manage Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables Handle Bank Deposits Maintain Good Records and Filing System Handle Annual Insurance Renewal/Audit Work with outside CPA Firm as needed Skills/
Qualifications:
5
years of accounting experience required preferably in the Construction Industry Must have good understanding of debits and credits Proven experience preparing balance sheets and year-end financials Attention to detail Proven experience as a Controller Accounting degree highly preferred Experience using QuickBooks Desktop Salary - $80,000 and up depending on education/experience Must pass general accounting test Background and credit check required Job Type:
