Central City Tavern Alpharetta is now hiring experienced sous chefs/kitchen managers to work at several locations around North Atlanta.
We offer great pay, flexible scheduling, positive work environment.
Requirements:
Must have experience working in a full-service high-volume kitchen as well as experience managing employees.
Full availability and ability to work 8-10 shifts standing and walking for long periods of time.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Able to grasp, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Knife skills to suit prep, knowledge of culinary cleanliness to health department code.
Ability to obtain an alcohol pouring permit.
Key responsibilities for our culinary team include:
Maintain food quality with sense of urgency towards check times.
Maintaining a positive attitude to lead and motivate your team, as well as training and coaching staff.
Communicating responsibilities to team and assigning tasksHelp run the kitchen working shoulder to shoulder with line cooks.
Assist with creating and preparing specials.
Maintain cleanliness to health department code and ensure team is doing them same.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set forth.
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain kitchen with proper sanitation.
Restock items as needed throughout shift.
Able to write a balanced Weekly Work Schedule based off labor budget.
Knowledge of Excel and ability to use spreadsheets for inventory and cost controls.
Hours per week:
Minimum 50 hours per week.
