The Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory test procedures and documenting the associated data and results.
This is a direct hire/perm job for placement on our PM Continental Shift (7:
00pm - 7:
00am with rotating weekly schedule:
Sun/Wed/Thurs and Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat).
Here's what I need:
Competent in high school mathematics up to Algebra I level.
Able to correctly read and understand written laboratory test procedures.
Correctly operate laboratory test equipment.
Able to perform laboratory tests efficiently, accurately, and precisely.
Ability to collaborate with others and foster a team-centric relationship with cross departmental colleagues Here is what you will do:
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory test procedures on raw materials, components, and finished products.
Document test data and results.
Develop test procedures.
Operate test equipment.
Perform daily maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
Monitors and maintains laboratory inventory and organize laboratory supplies.
Train others on test procedures and the use of test equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Associate technical degree or greater preferred.
Work experience in a laboratory or manufacturing test environment.
